I tried, I read, I sucked.

That was a brief history of my writing skills. I always wanted to write books, but I just don't seem to have the knack (I haven't fully given up though).

However, whilst researching self publishing and print on demand I discovered that it can be quite tricky to get yourself marketed to the general public and actually sell any books, so I had an idea. The plan was to provide a means to get children's authors work into the attention of the target audience, children. What if you were guaranteed a short story published every month as an example of your writing style and genre? Would this be a useful thing?

My plan is to set up a website that will take on the costs of printing for the authors, providing there is the demand. The revenue from the hard copies of the sales will produce royalties for the authors as well, it won't be a lot unless the books really take off. There is a lot more to it than I have written here as I am still in the planning stage, but if you are interested in knowing more and you are a struggling, or even an established author, then please let me know.

Thank you for your time

Kevin
