The new EJK Foundation website has been launched and is ready to be used by school children, teachers, librarians, scholars and parents interested in knowing more and Ezra Jack Keats, his work and his foundation. We are proud to say that special attention has been given to making the site easy to use, full of new information and visually engaging. Luckily we had the artwork of Keats to draw on, as well as the expertise of web designer Dan Sullivan.

Our address remains: www.ezra-jack-keats.org and we urge you to visit us again and let us know what you think. We expect this site to continue to evolve as we post information about new traveling Keats exhibits, theatre productions based on Keats books, new information for teachers on how to use Keats in the classroom, and descriptions of successful programs funded by EJK grants. Much of this information will show up on the ever expanding “Educator’s Corner” and the Current Events section of the “Foundation” page.

If you have a lesson plan you would like to share, a news article about a Keats related event or a book you feel would be relevant to our Bibliography please let us know. We cannot promise to post everything we receive, but it is important for us to know what is going on in our community.
