Big Red Fire Engine

Whilst none of the other books in this novelty series has ever quite had the impact of Little Green Tow Truck, all have been undeniably popular! Care is necessary in the use of these books but they have managed to survive mostly intact and have paid dividends in attracting some less keen readers to the non-fiction shelves of our library where they have suddenly found a whole new perspective on reading! Big Red Fire Engine has been well received and Wilson-Max's superb paper engineering makes interacting with this book a whole technological experience. Racing to the fire, extending the ladders, sending gushes of water over the flickering flames are all part of the excitement.
