Fiddle-i-fee
Wood has taken Fiddle-i-fee, the well-loved, rollicking, cumulative old nursery song, translated it from the vaguely 'olde Englishe' version, changed the noises the animals make, added a twist to the end and turned it into a brilliant picture book full of verve and fun! This title will be superb for 'Literacy Hour' particularly when I get round to typing out the text in 'Comic Sans MS' font to go alongside the book! Is there an evolution in the language of farm animals?
