Culture shock hits big time when Kerry and her mother are forced to move into a tower block flat after the removal of her father from the scene with a new love of his life. It is not long before the local gangland ruling family get the unlucky pair in their sights and matters deteriorate from bad to worse since Mrs Graham insists on upholding the law against the flow of her frightened and crushed neighbours. The short chapters make it a very fast read but character development seems to be sacrificed for consideration of just how dangerous a jungle some estates can be.
