Hippo and Pig are best friends, but when Hippo cuts down the hedge between their houses, they find they can see too much of each other - including all their less-than-desirable habits. The friendship comes to an abrupt halt, but as the hedge grows back they learn they can be friends again so long as they each respect boundaries and protect their own space. Gleefully amusing pictures add to the fun, and children will enjoy the knockabout humour.
