In these two books we meet children and adults who have learnt to live with disability. The causes and different levels of blindness and deafness are explained, and in colour photographs we see people coping with the help of technology, special teachers, family and understanding friends. These books will be particularly useful in schools to provide sympathetic, factual information about the problems people with disabilities face. A glossary, an index and a list of organisations and their web sites add to the usefulness.
