'Eyewitness Classics' is a series that attempts to make classics more accessible to older juniors. This particular title vividly retells the famous Dickens tale alongside bite size snippets of information on a range of matters related to the book, its characters and Victorian life in general, firmly placing the story in context. The actual story, which remains remarkably faithful to the original masterpiece, is illustrated in atmospheric soft focused pencil crayon.
