A new addition to the family inevitably means sleepless nights for Mr Bear's household. Various sympathetic neighbours offer solutions but none will do. Finally it is the wisdom of Small which saves the day - or rather the night - for everyone and brings a smile to the sleeping face of a 'furry starfish' baby bear. There is much for the reader to smile at too in the warm and telling illustrations. I loved all the domestic details and the bleary eyed expressions of sleepless parents.
