Baby's efforts at training one of Daisy's three puppies to sit, lie and speak prove more successful than mum's with Daisy herself in Kopper's latest picture book featuring the lovable bull terrier. The effectively controlled vocabulary and patterned structure of the text make for a simple but satisfying read which the pencil crayon and watercolour illustrations extend and embellish with humorous action and the interaction of the Mum, Baby, dog and puppies.
