Master storyteller has two short tales which seven-to-nines should enjoy, despite somewhat dated tone. The first has Timothy Trumper, who watches the Guardsmen passing each day, being invited to joint them. I liked the second more: young boy who has to go without his holiday 'imagines' his way into the scenario of his wallpaper! A good lead-in to the same writer's 'Bobby Brewster' stories. Val Biro's black and white illustrations are a bit static but the cover's a treat.
