This book is full of amusing, alliterative alphabetically arranged antics, poetically penned by Rosen who takes readers on a flight of fancy to a place where, for example, there are 'computers cooking cakes, ice cream is itchy' and 'noses need nets'. Tullet translates Rosen's nonsensical notions into a sequence of surreal spreads that he executes (predominantly) with pen and paint perambulations. Anything but a conventional alphabet book; rather, a book to encourage divergent thinking and experimentation in the use of language and form. Anyone who wants to foster a culture of creativity should get hold of a copy of this book and share it with as wide an audience as possible.
