If your teeth are dirty brown stumps instead of bright and white, maybe you live in the town of Cavity! Here, the locals drink sweet, fizzy sodas, served up by bar-owners Frothy and Fruity. The town is in for a big surprise when Rodeo Ron mosies into town, riding one of his colourful milkshake cows. Ron tastes Frothy's soda recipe (orange syrup, a shovel of sugar and another of extra fizzy bicarbonate of soda) and dares to criticise it. Enraged, Frothy and Fruity challenge Rodeo to a shake-off. Enormous fun ensues! Rodeo Ron rides his bucking red cow, with the resulting strawberry milkshake judged by the kids to out-taste that made by Frothy. Whilst the health message sounds loud and clear, this book is hugely entertaining, especially when read aloud. With lots of repetitive text for joining in, and bright, comical illustrations, this book is a must for introducing children to dental care and healthy eating.
