Cleo's Colour Book
An exploration of colour through the eyes of Cleo the Cat as she wanders through her home and garden with her child owner. Cleo finds such things as a red bike, a yellow sunflower, green apples and a black kitten before inviting readers to mix their own colours, with the final spread supplying various possibilities for colour combinations.
The short rhyming text presented in a hand-lettered style font and simple illustrations executed in bold black outlined blocks of acrylic colour should prove sufficiently eye-catching to attract the attention of preschoolers. JB
