Elmer is the well known kind and easygoing patchwork elephant who is friends with every animal in the jungle. In Elmer and the Lost Teddy , he averts disaster by loaning Baby Elephant his own teddy before setting out to look for Baby Elephant’s lost teddy. Aimed at the 2 to 4 age group, the story has a lovely final message: you don’t have to be different to be special. The illustrations are beautiful, with rich colours that are full of vibrancy.
