This latest book about Sir Gadabout (not known for nothing as the Worst Knight in the World) will continue to keep his fans amused. Due to the continued chaos that erupts wherever he goes, Gadabout is sent off to Knight School to try to learn something – but as Sir Lancelot is called away at the last moment, Gadabout ends up teaching the knights in a way that defies just about every chivalric intention they have ever learnt or heard of. And then Camelot is attacked... The huge enjoyment with which Beardsley tells the Gadabout stories is communicated well in his trademark style of hilarity and tongue-in-cheek slapstick, and Ross’ illustrations only go to further enliven the text. Readers will not be disappointed in this latest instalment in Sir Gadabout’s life.
