Two Tough Teddies

When two tatty teddies are abandoned in a box in the park, they decide they must find someone else to love them. To do this, they feel they must become loud and brave in order to be noticed. But they frighten away the animals they approach with their toughness, and they finally fall asleep sadly in each other’s arms. Along comes a little girl who rescues them and gives them all the love and attention they need, proving that the best love comes unsolicited and without having to show off. The illustrations are delicate and loveable – like the teddies – and a certain amount of repetition in the story will appeal to little ones.
