One of several books about a dog called Grk and his owner, Tim, this time set in India. Visiting Delhi with young tennis champion Max Raffifi, Tim exposes an underground organisation using enslaved children to work in the production of pirated CDs, DVDs, books and designer clothing. The story unfolds at a rate of knots as Tim and Grk are led through the backstreets and slums of the city, eventually using his contacts in the prestigious world of top-level tennis to bring justice for the young workers.

A good, pacy read which introduces, albeit in romanticised form, the immorality of child labour and of the production of counterfeit goods. I’m not sure of the factual accuracy of criminal activity in this industry in Delhi, but the general point is made.
