Peter the Penguin Pioneer

Peter the penguin, assisted by Punky, has just returned from exploring to discover that their local ice rink has been invaded by impostors. With ideas from Harold (their friend) who thinks he is being helpful, they work out a plan to discover just who the impostors are... Adding to the general mayhem that results we also meet Denise (one of a group of polar bears) and a whole load of squirrels. Divided into short action packed chapters, the book is narrated in a chatty style by Punky and illustrated with witty, stylised black and white line drawings. The humour, though repetitive at times, will appeal to younger readers.
