Teach Your Granny to Text - and Other Ways to Change the World
Here’s a full-on approach to everything that’s wrong with our current wasteful and decadent way of life (well, that part of it the Media tell us about). In its patchwork of challenges and remedies we tackle Obesity – ‘walk your dad’, Junk Food – ‘grow something and eat it’, Apathy – ‘stand up for something’, Heat Loss – ‘layer up’, Ignorance – ‘ask why’ and so on; oh, and Non-communication – ‘teach your granny to text’… Often humorous, always to the point and bursting with street (and classroom) credibility, this happy volume interlaced with jokes, stories and puzzles is very much one for personal possession and/or family sharing. Together or alone, the reader(s) can learn that by contributing wool for garments and insulation, manure for gas and soil-improvement, and meat for local consumption, sheep can save the world. Well, hello Dolly! Great fun.
