No Way Out
Going on family holidays can be a curse if you’re going to stay with cousins you don’t get on with. And then the family car runs into a mysterious mist and breaks down resulting in an unscheduled walk and a strange, time-warp village. As the story proceeds, so does the mystery and the unexplained circumstances. It is up to the twins to explore and see what happens next. Gene Kemp’s well practised storytelling skills keep the story moving at a pace that will have young readers engrossed. This book will be readily enjoyed by Kemp’s fans as well as those who enjoy mysteries and suspense. My one gripe was that there were places where the story could have been spun out longer, particularly towards the end.
