Told in the style of fables, this beautifully illustrated and handsomely published book contains three short stories. In the first, a baby girl is rescued in the desert, but what will happen when her guardian starts to go blind? In the second, a mischievous child accidentally breaks a treasured plate. How will he redeem himself? And in the final story a young girl goes to work to help her sick aunt. With the unlikely help of some friendly monkeys, she is able to achieve far more than she ever thought... I strongly recommend this book for the classroom or home as it is ideal both for sharing or reading alone.
