Moon Dreams
An inventive and refreshingly new take on the moon in all its guises – this book uses poetic language and original situations. Seen as a glowing ever-changing shape, the moon is mistaken for many things before we discover that only the child knows what this glowing orb really is and it is time to go to sleep. Since the moon is a cut out shape in the book, when we turn the page those various holes must almost disappear so a dark palette is necessary. This serves to accentuate the iridescent glow of the moon and keep a low, wind down feel. This is a lovely book for bedtime.
