Sometimes the desire to publish an illustrator is so great that the text can be somewhat slight. This is a case in point. The illustrations are charming, clean and full of clarity with engagingly funny characters. I particularly like the treatment of less important things in pale grey line, allowing the beautifully coloured and patterned areas to have their full measure.

The story is about Olive who just could not keep a secret. When she tells her friend Joe he tells his pal and so on until it gets back to Mollie who had the secret originally. A simple story for the very young which can open up discussion on keeping ones counsel.
