A surreal comedy. When Granny swallows Mr Bat's rejuvenating medicine, she carelessly reduces herself to a six-year-old and it's panic stations for Robert and his friends as they try to undo the damage. Set in Vienna and translated from the German original, this is an undemanding tale, remarkable for its dreadful illustrations. But the humour should give it appeal up to top juniors.
