Seven stories of the famous accident-prone bear which appeared first in the Blue Peter annuals of the seventies. References to Valerie Singleton. John, Peter and Lesley, Uri Geller etc, may mystify today's young audience but, suitably updated these still make short, funny read aloud for young juniors who will enjoy the chaos and mayhem and the wordplay that result from Paddington's innocent, well-intentioned encounters with the Beeb.
