This was Ron Maris' first picture book and an exciting debut it was too. He, like his hero has moved on - to bigger and better things, I was going to say; but that would belittle this title, something I would not wish to do. Frog seems to have lots of holes to live in but he soon finds that they are already occupied by other animals: hence the oft repeated 'Better move on, Frog.' This repetition and the jolly pictures make the book one beginner readers can enjoy on their own.
