For those familiar with Tony Ross' treatment of traditional tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk, this book will need no further recommendation. This particular updating sees Ross as zany and outrageous as ever. Purists may wince but everyone else, and particularly older children (9+) will relish this hilarious romp.
