The idea of a mischievous, friendly giant who could be called upon in times of need, to perform such feats as turning a house upside down whilst an angry mum was out shopping, is enormously appealing. Definitely a hit as far as my class of four to sevens was concerned - 'Read it again,' they said, when I got to the end.
