Cars ¦ Big Wheels

These books were devoured by my younger infants. They fill a gap in the market for accessible non-fiction picture books for the very young. Both books rarely returned to the shelves being passed from hand to hand - predominantly by the boys (despite all my efforts). Cars illustrates the different uses to which cars are put and the simple text beautifully matches the pictures allowing for good easy reading. Big Wheels was the more popular, depicting as it does the mammoths of the road simply yet with enough detail to allow for a wealth of discussion.
