Two shortish tales: new adventures based on the original Oz stories specially written for younger readers.
Presumably the intention behind these is to provide accessible stories for those who have seen the films but are not yet ready to tackle the full-blown originals. For full enjoyment, some knowledge of Dorothy's previous adventures is needed and those have this could well take to these books.
