I'm a great fan of Robert the Great and so are the children so we were very pleased to see it in paperback. The entertaining tale of how Robert, furious at being called a lovely little boy by everyone, tries to make himself bigger but finally becomes a hero just because he is small (and so can slip through the bars of the tiger's cage), is a great favourite, especially with boys. It is easy to read, whether the reader is an adult or a newly independent child, because the language is natural, the story flows so well, and the pictures are amusing and full of incident and action. Well worth adding to the 6-7 year old library.
