It takes a mysterious, ailing old man and a young psychic girl to right past wrongs and make the two facets of Dan MacAvity one. Dennis Hamely has managed to combine the two popular themes of sport and horror into one successful tale full of thrills, suspense and variety. It's a bit melodramatic at times but most young readers ought to stick with it to the last page.
