The ubiquitous pair enter the information books stakes. These first two (to be followed by... Can Cook and... Can Sing and Play) are well-written, with realistic ideas for activities. I suspect that the real use for these will not be 'do-it-yourself' for tots but ideas for teachers and for harrassed holiday mums.
