Johnathan shares his life with the ghost of a child who died in World War Two. When he is summoned to a remote village to visit his great aunt, another wartime phantom draws him into perilous re-enactments of the Battle of Britain. A well-knit thriller, somewhat blemished by the Bigglesy swashing of the battle scenes. It should appeal to ghost story enthusiasts in search of something light but intriguing.
