Doodle's Homework

Learning by doing has long been advocated as the means of solving mathematical problems, at least for younger children (and Dodos?). However, practical methods do not always work, especially when Fuddi-duddi-dodo is in charge of the operation. So it is just as well that Doodle was able to solve the problem aided only by his blackboard and chalk. Definitely not amused was the reaction I got to this rather silly story.
