Simon & Schuster keep up the very high quality of their 'Young Books' with this wonderfully sentimental, happy-ever-after story about a little girl who longs for a dog. I defy anyone, child or adult, to read this without smiling at the satisfying outcome of a simply told story of love and good luck! The paper, print, colour and artwork are as pleasing as the content. Highly recommended for the soft-hearted and hopeful among us.
