Three brilliant stories by Pat Hutchins in a satisfying, chunky format, nicely printed on good paper and with coloured illustrations. Clever, short and with some of the most cunningly introduced repetition I've read for a long time, they're exactly right for children just moving on to independent reading. The only possible criticism is the last story. How can anyone have measles without any spots?
