The Human Zoo

Paul's trip to the zoo on his birthday is ruined when the imprisoned animals tell him of their misery. Their revelations are reinforced during a nightmarish adventure in which Paul's entire family are captured by animals, bundled from their beds and transported to a Human Zoo where they're humiliated by animal visitors. The tension abates as the story develops into an escape yarn, but the message remains powerful and uncompromising.
