Three very different children, caught up in different circumstances and places in the same flood, are dramatically brought together, learning through the experience a great deal about themselves, their families and each other. This is a fast-paced, suspense story, written so that you keep turning the pages and become involved with the individual characters and their plight. There are shades of Ivan Southall's work, which would be worth resurrecting for comparison and contrast.
