Like all other books by Wildsmith, this is a teat to look at with its wonderful use of colour and pattern and many details which make every page interesting and exciting. The story is about a dog called Stray who has no home. He journeys in and out of pages and half pages trying to find a bone and a place to eat it, encountering plenty of difficulties until he comes upon a wedding. The bridal carriage has bones tied to it, so he gives chase and ends up finding his home with the young couple. A very satisfactory outcome and a terrific book that's well worth the price.
