When We Went to the Zoo
I think this is the very best work so far from this well-known and talented illustrator... a truly beautiful book which takes us through the zoo and introduces a variety of creatures in a most original way. Each double-page spread has a different layout, rich in colour and detail. The children in the book are fascinated by the zoo animals they meet, and by the sparrow they finally spy at the end. Lucky the adult who shares this title with children.
