The move to an old house, the room which has a strange chill, dreams that recapture the past... okay, the plot may not be new but this is well written. The story moves to its dramatic climax, where the resolution of present and past problems must converge, increasing its grip on the reader. This is a satisfying and short book which might be an easy entry into the whole range of high-quality fantasy writing.
