Charley wakes up one morning and it's the day before yesterday. Thanks to his ability to move in time, a long unsolved jewel raid is finally cleared up, so allaying his mum's worst financial fears. The often difficult concept of time is considered through Charley's own confusion about what's happening, and totally involves the reader. Family relations and domestic issues are realistic and ones which many children will recognise. With plentiful and pleasing illustrations, intrigue and lots of action, this is a readable story which many juniors of 8+ will enjoy for themselves.
