Especially good stories are often simple, and this charming book is just that with the addition of illustrations which have humour and movement as well as an element of surprise. It's about a baby who, instead of feeding the ducks, feeds himself . . . and the ducks, then the geese and finally all the other animals join in and make a terrible noise. Eventually big brother comes along and bribes baby brother with ice-cream to give up the bag of bread and stop screaming! The plan works and the animals stop making their hullabaloo. What a good story! Recommended for all big brothers, sisters and their babies between one and five years.
