Another Posy Simmonds' wonderfully detailed and lively cartoon-strip style of story, much in the format of Fred and featuring Lulu again (she of the Flying Babies). Prevented from being a bridesmaid by sickness brought on by eating too much chocolate, Lulu saves the day when her little brother, Willie, seems to have eaten the sugar bride from the top of the cake. An entertaining story with lots for a wide age-range to enjoy.
