If a small boy took a short cut through the forest and was captured by a wolf, we might think his future looked bleak. Not a bit of it - in the tradition of Clever Polly and the Stupid Wolf, the small boy foils the wolf's plans by appealing to his greed and devising ever more exotically bizarre dishes to tempt him further and further into exhaustion and towards a very suitable downfall. Blundell's illustrations capture the mood and his recipes will surely appeal to adults and children alike.
