Noah and the Animals
In this version of the familiar Bible story, Prue Theobalds invites the reader to think about what the human race is doing to the world. On the first spread Noah's well-tended garden is contrasted with the exploited and polluted world outside, while on the succeeding pages the diversity of the animal kingdom is catalogued. There is gentle humour in the illustrations as a slightly doddery and ancient Noah seeks out and amasses his precious cargo.
