Well, too much to expect that there wouldn't be yet more dinosaurs around, I suppose, and if there has to be, one could do far worse than this attractive picture book. While reading about the little stegosaurus and his world, children will learn a good many facts about the life of dinosaurs contained within a pleasant story. I must admit, I had never seen stegosaurus as being a cuddly creature, but this one is delightful. The pictures are accurate but softened by gentle colour wash and there's a fact page at the back. Costing £1.00 less than other picture books around this month, it's also excellent value. A good antidote to the hype and nonsense often put about in the name of prehistory.
