Billy's Beetle
Mick Inkpen has done it again! Billy's Beetle follows in the tradition of One Bear at Bedtime and is already the most favourite night-time read for my nearly 4-year-old and yet is never sniffed at by my 6-year-old as we read it 'again'. It doesn't matter how many times it's read, the children still delight in knowing the whereabouts of the beetle when no-one on the pages can find him ... and the grand denouement with a three-spread concertina page is pure magic.
